- These rights can be exercised via written request, email, or fax, and IBC Tank Corporation will process such requests promptly.
- These rights can also be exercised through an authorized representative, in which case a power of attorney must be submitted in accordance with the “Notice on Personal Information Processing Methods.”
- Requests for access or suspension of processing may be restricted under Articles 35(4) and 37(2) of the Personal Information Protection Act.
- Requests for correction or deletion may not be accepted if the information must be retained under other laws.
- IBC Tank Corporation will verify the identity of the requester or their legal representative before processing requests.
Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information
IBC Tank Corporation implements the following measures to secure personal information:
- Internal management plan establishment and implementation
- An internal management plan is established and implemented for the safe processing of personal information.
- Access restriction to personal information
- Access permissions are granted, changed, and revoked as necessary, and unauthorized access is prevented through firewall systems.
- Storage and prevention of access log tampering
- Access logs to personal information systems are stored for at least one year, and for more than two years if processing over 50,000 individuals’ data.
- Encryption of personal information
- User passwords are stored and managed in encrypted form. Important data is encrypted or locked for additional security.
- Technical measures against hacking and viruses
- Security programs are installed and regularly updated to prevent leaks and damage from hacking or computer viruses.
- Physical security control
- Personal information storage locations are subject to controlled access.
- Use of locking devices for document security
- Documents containing personal information are stored in secure locations with locking devices.
